Write a few brief words in your blog this week about what you have learned, what you have done, and what thoughts you had about it.

The MATH1081 test came back with fewer crosses than I expected. A few simple mistakes, because I apparently can’t add numbers together without goofing it up. Another test next week; I’m much rustier on the Euclid algorithm, so I need to practice that.

That MATH1231 test this week went… not great; probably goofed up some simple integrals. There’s another one next week, so… ugh.

COMP3421 got pretty much ignored this week. I really need to get a move on with that assignment, let alone keeping on top of lecture content.

COMP1927 went well; my ability to do simple arithmetic makes it difficult to do bit-wise operations and base conversion, and it looks like I grossly overestimated the amount of stuff we’d be able to get through.

Maintaining a task queue is working thus far. I just need to make sure I keep moving stuff off it, which tends to get hard when there’s apparently infinite amounts of stuff on it.

I’ve been thinking about putting together a little bundle of knowledge about living on-campus, so that might happen in a few weeks. Also, UNSW’s open day is next weekend, and I’ll be hanging out at that.
